Job Description:
Process Weekly Payroll for all Full Time and Temporary Work
Staff working with Floor Supervision to ensure 100% payroll
accuracy, manage and process new employee benefits program as well
as changes to benefits for current staff members.
Primary lead for Company Employee Engagement Counsel, interactive
role in facility continuous improvement programs; organize and lead
weekly / monthly meetings to maintain & improve communication
between hourly and salaried work staff.
Description of Duties:
Payroll:
Verify Weekly Payroll Full Time and Temporary, Transmit to
Corporate for processing
Track Weekly Labor Cost per / Man Hour
Accountability for tracking Vacation / Holiday / PTO Usage
Accountability for tracking attendance infractions for disciplinary
purposes
Accountability for tracking perfect attendance program for bonus
program
Benefits ¿
New Employee Management
o Pre-Screen all candidates to ensure they meet all hiring
qualifications
o Schedule and perform preliminary interviews with potential
candidates
o Manage / Coordinate hiring process (Paperwork, drug screens,
background checks, physicals, onboarding (Insurance / thrift
Program)
o Conduct New Hire Orientation
o Manage / Track 30/60/90 evaluation program for new hire
employees
Current Employee Management
o Manage / Track Job Postings, Job Movement
o Track Wage Increases
o Track Performance, annual evaluation, FMLA, Workmen¿s Comp
Programs
o Track employee information change programs (Submit to Corporate
for processing)
o Process Paperwork for all Terminations (Submit to Corporate for
Processing)
o Miscellaneous Employee Interaction
General
o Oversee Employee Bonus Programs (Birthday, Christmas,
Anniversary, Annual)
o Track OSHA / DART Logs (Submit to Corporate for processing)
o Track Safety Incident reporting (Submit to Corporate for
processing)
o Prepare and Submit Annual EEOC/Manpower Reports
o Miscellaneous Records Keeping
Employee Engagement Leader:
Lead Employees activity Committee (plan annual Christmas Party /
Summer Picnic)
Lead Lafayette Engagement Team Meetings (Monthly) Complete
Follow-up Accordingly
Participate in Lafayette Safety Committee Meetings (Monthly) Take
and Distribute Notes
Oversee Employee Suggestion Box Program (Recover, respond and
distribute Notes)
Leadership Skills Required
Ability to work efficiently in Microsoft Office Applications (word
/ Excel / PowerPoint)
Strong Communications Skills; ability to communicate up and down
the organization staff
Ability to work on multiple task at any one time (Strong Time
Management Skills)
Strong Organization skills
Strong Change Agent (ability to understand, communicate and
implement positive change)
