With our proven and scalable operating model, we complement a healthcare organization's infrastructure, quickly driving sustainable improvements to net patient revenue and cash flows while reducing operating costs and enhancing the patient experience.As our Regional Manager, Coding Operations will oversee 1 to 3 hospitals/hospital systems that include teams of 4 to 6 Site Managers and approximately 80 to 120 remote medical coding associates. The teams are responsible for delivering timely and accurately coded cases to the hospitals for billing. Every day you are responsible for managing the collection, completion, maintenance, and reporting of coding metrics, in addition to managing the goals, objectives, strategic plans, and policies and procedures for the regional hospitals/hospital systems. To thrive in this role, you must have a coding certification and have managment experience.Responsibilities:Holds each of their site managers accountable for their team's performance, productivity, and quality targetsMaintains district accountability for region-wide cost, DNFB performance, and QA targetsExecutes standard daily and weekly coding performance reviews to meet key performance indicators (KPIs)Identifies and tracks key barriers and process defects, and reports them to the customer and leadership teams weeklySolves moderate to complex problems related to coding workflows and leads project plans for the containment, structural and resolution, and escalation of key performance barriersCoordinates with the internal quality review team to review, determine the root cause(s), and remediate coding quality issues; ensures implementation of performance-and quality-based improvement plans among staffMonitors the assessment, on-boarding, and training of new hires to ensure compliance with R1 productivity and quality standards through the initial 30/60/90 days of production codingManages teams of 4 to 6 site managers with total oversight of 80 to 120 coders and $20M in receivablesRequired Qualifications:Must have a coding certification: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC3 years of healthcare management leadership experience3 years of coding experienceStrong leadership and management skillsExperience analyzing large quantities of operational dataGlobal management experience preferred (offshore)For this US-based position, the base pay range is $57,952.00 - $82,243.00 per year .
