qualified and caring Dental Hygienist to join our team! We are a
private, PPO and fee for service practice providing top-notch
dental care that makes our patients feel like family. As a
hygienist, you will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and
assist the dentists with exams . The ideal candidate is
state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has at least
one year of experience. Days needed are Mondays, Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Fridays. Hours are flexible. If you're friendly,
outgoing, and committed to creating an amazing dental experience,
we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesProvide preventive dental
care, including cleaning and polishing teeth, applying sealants,
and fluoride treatments.Provide Periodontal Therapy which includes
but not limited to Full Mouth Scaling and Root Planing.Assess
patient oral health and provide education on proper oral hygiene
techniques.Evaluate teeth and soft tissue for signs of disease or
other conditions.Obtain x-rays, panorex, intra oral pictures and
obtain other diagnostic tests.Record medical and dental
histories/updates of patients.Assist in scheduling and coordinating
patients next recare appointmentsAdhere to all health and safety
regulations and office policiesQualificationsAssociate's Degree
from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation,
Bachelor's or Master's degree preferredCurrent Dental Hygienist
licensureAt least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygieneStrong
understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety
guidelinesAnesthetic certificationExcellent communication and
customer service skillsDental software experience. Dentrix
preferred
