Job Description:
Edgemont Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med
Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lafayette, Indiana.Job
Description & Requirements
Unit: AC6- Medical & General Surgery
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:30)
Hard Stop: Candidates with IN driver's license are not accepted by
the hospital.
IN STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB
First Time travelers Accepted: Yes
Shift Requirements: 3x12s, every other weekend required
Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS required
Skillset Requirements: Telemetry and IV Start required
Floating Requirements: YES
Minimum Experience Required: 18 months
Department Details:
Unit Information: 1:6 ratio
Medical-Surgical: Majority are medical patients (COPD exacerbation,
PNA, COVID-19, chest pain, small bowel obstruction, etc. Small
surgical case load (roughly 1-3 post-surgical cases/day) including
gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, colectomy, mastectomy,
appendectomy, cholecystectomy.
