• Certification Details
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, and CRT or RRT.
• IL RCP (Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner) is required.
  • Job Details
  • Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) position available at Humboldt Park Health.
  • Immediate start with bi-weekly orientation.
  • Primary responsibilities include providing respiratory care services.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Experience: 1 year in Vent, EKG, and ABG.
    • Charting Experience preferred: MediTech.
    • Level 2 Nursery/NICU experience required - low flow vapotherm and assisting in intubation or setting up on ventilator until transfer out.
      • Schedule Information
      • Guaranteed Hours: 72hrs biweekly with 1 cancellation allowed per 2-week period.
      • Shift Requirements: 12 Hour Nights.
      • Weekend/Holidays: Work every other weekend and holiday rotation.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit Overview: More than 1 unit, managing approximately 5 therapies per round and oxygen management.
        • Unit Information: 25-bed units, RTs typically manage 2 units but not all patients require RT.
        • Candidates should be hardworking, resilient, manage change well, and able to work independently.
          • Additional Details
          • COVID Vaccine Requirements: COVID Vaccination is required unless a medical/religious declination is approved by the committee prior to start.
