• Certification Details
• BLS, NRP, Ascension Fetal Monitoring among other certifications are required.
  • Job Details
  • RN that can care for laboring patients and post partum patients and neonates.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must be AHA certified.
    • Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here.
    • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
    • Pharmacology 1,2 exam required.
    • If fetal monitoring is not covered on the competency exam then AWHONN, Relias or other program within past 2 years.
    • Completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
      • Unit Specific Information
      • Optional for Onboarding, but needs to be uploaded by our Ascension unit leader within a week.
      • www.ascension.org/CWRnursingorientation - The attestation at the end of the pre-hire 6 hours needs to be uploaded by the Agency.

        • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics.
        • Flu season starts Sept 4th, 2023 for all new travelers. Needs to be updated every year.
        • Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer.
        • Flu season is October 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025.
        • Exemptions/Declinations are accepted, but candidate will be required to wear a mask at all times.
