• Certification Details
• All IMCU and higher specialties are required to take an EKG Strip test and Medication tests on 1st day
• M/S RNs will have to take Adult medication tests and Peds Medication tests
• Certifications (e.g., ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement, State License 1 Verification, NURSYS Verification, NIH Stroke Certification) - see additional info for specifics
  • Job Details
  • All RNs are expected to float to their capacities in their hospitals, IMCU can float to M/S, ICU can float to IMCU, M/S can float M/S units.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared to float based on census and acuity
  • IMCU units vary from regular Stepdown to CV Stepdown to Neuro Stepdown
  • CVIMCU requires Cardio experience recently
  • Neuro IMCU requires neuro specific experience in the last 3 years
  • All IMCU and higher specialties are required to take an EKG Strip test and Medication tests on 1st day
  • M/S RNs will have to take Adult medication tests and Peds Medication tests
  • 5 Days of RTO max allowable per contracts
  • No more than 2 call offs per 13 week contract/ can result in termination
  • Registry Float Positions for Community Foundation of Northern Indiana candidates will be required to float to all 3 facilities

    • Indiana License or compact multistate license in hand at time of submission
      • Schedule Information
      • Patient Ratios: IMCU 1:4-5
      • Some IMCU may float to ER Hold
