Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Coding Project Specialist
(IDRE) - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the facilitation of review requests and track
individual case progress
Serve as the medical coding subject matter expert and assist with
eligibility determinations
Coordinate and document data to meet team reporting needs and
ensure receipt of review documentation
Required Qualifications
Associates degree or 5 years of related experience; Bachelor's
degree preferred (healthcare specialty preferred)
Current certification (CPC, CCA, CCS, or RHIT) recognized by AHIMA
or equivalent credentials
At least three years of experience as a professional medical
coder
Two years of project support experience in a corporate/professional
environment
Project management skills required
