A company is looking for a Prebill Inpatient Coding Specialist
REMOTE.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and correct patient accounts based on the OCE/EAPG report
Combine accounts according to payer requirements and maintain
proper documentation
Maintain current knowledge of coding systems and participate in
continuing education
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Registered Health Information
Technician (RHIT) or Administrator (RHIA)
Completion of a coding certificate program or significant coding
experience
3-5 years of recent acute care hospital outpatient coding
experience
Experience with the 3M OCE report or charge capture
determination
Achieve satisfactory score on the coding test
