Job Description:

Essential Functions:
The industrial maintenance technician is responsible for setting up and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting and repairing machinery, and maintaining equipment records. They must also adhere to safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly. Additional Responsibilities:
The technician will need to notify supervisors of any unusual equipment problems, assist operators during lunch and breaks, and use precision measuring instruments and tools. Job Scope:
The role involves completing tasks in resourceful and effective ways, working on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative, and understanding the implications of work for making recommendations for solutions. The technician will be responsible for performing a majority of critical thinking tasks. Education and Experience Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in repair procedures and equipment operation, along with knowledge of mathematics and precision measuring instruments. Physical/Visual Demands/Work Environment:
The position requires physical agility and strength, and involves environmental and atmospheric conditions associated with working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to high temperatures, humidity, tight spaces, and high noise levels.
