Senior Accessibility ConsultantLocation: Downtown Chicago, IL Type: 5+ Months (high likelihood of extension)Contact: Ashley at ajones@forbestc.comNote: This can be remote working CST hours and located in the US.
Responsibilities: This role is responsible for breaking down walls between design, engineering, and the business to ensure inclusion for all. Our client is transforming how digital products are brought to market, and this professional will play a pivotal role in ensuring accessibility is embedded in every step of our client's customer journey. Must have familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA standards. This role will be involved in accessibility testing and training across design, QA and engineering.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of Accessibility and advocacy work
• Experience with assistive technologies (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, Voiceover, Talkback, & Dragon) and testing tools (e.g., axe, PAC3, & CCA)
• Passionate about disability advocacy
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills including 3+ years in program management, project management
• Comfortable with public speaking and handling conflict and prioritize projects with competing resources
• IAAP certification (CPACC, WAS, etc)
• DHS v5 Trusted Tester certification
• PMP certification
