Job Description:
A company is looking for an Application Security Analyst to
enhance their development efforts by focusing on application
security.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct security assessments of web and mobile applications,
including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning
Identify and document security vulnerabilities, providing
actionable recommendations for remediation
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best
practices into the software development lifecycle
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a
related field
5+ years of experience in application security testing and
vulnerability management
Strong understanding of application security principles, including
the OWASP Top 10 and SANS CWE Top 25
Experience with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP
ZAP, or similar
Ability to work independently and respond to occasional after-hours
requests
